ACCORD is a highly skilled multi-disciplinary alliance which has been created to support British Nuclear Group in the provision of engineering design house services under the new MDDH2 framework contract agreement.
The ACCORD alliance consists of seven of the UK's leading current providers of engineering services to British Nuclear Group sites led by AMEC NNC, INS Innovation Limited and DGP International and exclusively supported by Morson Projects, Capula, REMAC and White Young Green. Together these suppliers have amassed over 50 years experience in the UK nuclear services market, demonstrating unrivalled knowledge, expertise and skills.
All seven alliance companies have a local West Cumbrian office which makes ACCORD one of largest employers of local engineering resources in the region. To support our teams at Westlakes and Greengarth we also have a significant resource pool in the North West.
We have a proven ability to work together as an alliance through the sharing of common values which has already been demonstrated through successful relationships on previous British Nuclear Group projects including the CONNECT and Deltec MDDH partnerships. Our combined achievement has led to our involvement in over 70% of the engineering and design service projects undertaken at Sellafield during 2006.
